Area’s that I specialise in:
Prehab and rehab prior or following Hip and Knee surgery.
I'm a Crowborough-based APPI Pilates. Alongside my private practice, I work within the NHS at the Princess Royal Hospital as a Senior Technical Instructor in Elective Orthopaedics, supporting patients undergoing hip and knee surgery.
I am launching a specialist Pilates programme to support patients both before surgery (prehab) and following surgery (rehab), specifically for hip and knee conditions.
The classes are designed to improve strength, mobility, balance and confidence, helping patients prepare for surgery and supporting their recovery afterwards.
The programme is intended to complement, not replace, the care provided by GPs, consultants and physiotherapists. Participants complete a health screening before joining, and post-operative patients are required to provide their discharge documentation together with any rehabilitation guidance or restrictions so that classes can be delivered safely.
