Susan studied physiotherapy at the University of Queensland in Australia, gaining her degree in 1998. After completing her graduate rotations she developed a keen interest in sports medicine and began work in the private sector. In 2001 Susan moved to the United Kingdom and continued her work in the musculoskeletal field. Whilst working closely with orthopaedic and spinal surgeons at a private hospital, she began her pilates training. She has been working with the APPI since 2005, presenting courses in the UK, Europe and Brazil. Susan returned to Australia in 2009 and is based in Pottsville, NSW.
